Hi, my name is Annalise Mahanes. On July 23rd, my mother, Debra Mahanes, was admitted to the ICU after suffering from a rare case of blood clots. Doctors, Nurses, and the entire medical staff at Henrico Doctor’s Hospital have worked tirelessly to save her life.

When she was operated on, more than 50% of Debra’s intestine was removed. On September 13, 2022, Mahanes informed her viewers about her mother’s recovery journey through her Instagram. With the pictures of her mom in the hospital bed, Mahanes captioned,

The pain and suffering my mother has endured is unfathomable, but she is strong. She is brave. She has reminded me what is worth living for, how precious life is, and how powerful love can be.
