Tuanchai Mackenzie aka Cookie Mackenzie is an American real estate agent. But, she is famously known as the ex-wife of the late American actor and comedian Flip Wilson. Wilson rose to prominence with his television works during the late 1960s and 1970s. Notably, Flip hosted his own series The Flip Wilson Show. The late actor also received two Golden Globes and two Emmy Awards for the series.
Well, Tuanchai was married to Wilson for a short time in the 1970s. Nevertheless, she soon grabbed media attention due to her then-husband’s fame. Following her divorce from Wilson, Tuanchai has been living away from the media limelight.

Tuanchai Mackenzie Early Life – Who Are Her Parents?
Tuanchai Mackenzie was born in Bangkok, Thailand to Thai parents. However, her biological parents’ identity is not known. She was later adopted by William J. Davis. Regarding her birthday, Tuanchai Mackenzie was born on December 6, 1949, and as of 2023, her age is 73.
There isn’t much detail about her adoptive parents as well, however, according to her Facebook post, her adoptive dad was a World War II veteran who served in the navy. Both her adoptive parents are no more. Her dad died in August 2017 and her mother died in October 2018.

Talking about her education, Mackenzie studied social science at Colorado State University-Pueblo.

Tuanchai who goes as Cookie Mackenzie is a real estate broker/agent. She has long been active in this field. According to her LinkedIn profile, Tuanchai started her career in real estate more than three decades ago.
She is self-employed since 1989 at Real Estate Sales based in Simi Valley, California. Besides, she is also an owner of Linstow Partners, Corp since January 1989.
Her Married Life with Actor Flip Wilson
Mackenzie was married to Flip Wilson for a short time during the late 1970s and early 1980s. The former pair tied the knot on December 14, 1979. They had promised to be each other’s “life-time honeymoon,” however, their marriage only lasted five years as they parted ways in 1984.
Back on December 14, 2014, on the day of Tuanchai and Wilson’s marriage (35 years ago), Cookie shared a post on her Facebook where she wrote about her relationship with her late ex-spouse. In her words,
“Today 35 years ago, we were married, our promised “life-time honeymoon” lasted 5 years. We went our separate ways, and reconnected just before you went home 1998! Like you said when we first met…”you’ll be my friend till the day you die.”
She added,
“Yes, you were right!! I appreciate our lives together, what experiences I learned from you, and the sun you brought into my life!! How could one ever forget someone who, at one time in one’s life made her felt as though she was the Queen of his days, someone who always looked out for her???”
“I choose to remember all good things about us, and I shall always have room in my heart for you Clerow Flip Wilson …RIP❤️❤️❤️❤️!!,” Tuanchai wrote at the end of her post.
Tuanchai Remarried After Her First Divorce
After her first unsuccessful marriage, Mackenzie got married to her second husband Roderick Mackenzie. Roderick was a war veteran who fought in the Vietnam war in US Army.
Even though it’s not known when the two got married, we know for sure that they were together until Roderick’s death in 2011.
Tuanchai’s second husband Roderick died on August 25, 2011, at 63. The former husband and wife also welcomed a daughter, Duan Mackenzie together.

Duan was born on 30th April 1988. Duan is married to her longtime love Craig Nelson with whom she also has a baby boy.
Tuanchai Mackenzie’s Ex-husband Was Married Previously – Flip Wilson’s Children
Before Mackenzie started dating late actor Flip in the 1970s, he was in two relationships publicly. In 1957, Flip was married to Lovenia Patricia Wilson. The couple met in Lovenia’s native Bahamas while Wilson was there to perform. After they got married, Lovenia relocated to the United States, however, their marriage was short-lived as the then-husband-and-wife separated within a couple of years.
Flip and Lovenia didn’t get a divorce right away. As per the records, Flip get a divorce in the United States in 1967. While he got the divorce, he was already in a relationship with Blonell Pitman. Flip and Blonell weren’t married officially. The longtime couple also gave birth to four children; Kevin Wilson, David Wilson, Tamara Wilson, and Stacy Wilson.
Meanwhile, a lot of sites have mentioned that Flip Wilson gave birth to his daughter Michelle Trice Wilson with Blonell Pitman herself, however, there is no confirmation of the fact as of yet.
Her Ex-Husband Died of Cancer in 1998
Tuanchai Mackenzie’s ex-spouse Flip Wilson died of liver cancer at the age of 64 in 1998. His longtime assistant, Angie Hill announced he died on November 25 at his home in Malibu, California. Just over a month before his death, Flip had undergone surgery for a malignant tumor that was close to his liver at St John’s Hospital & Health Center in Santa Monica.
He was cremated at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetary and his ashes were dispersed on Malibu beach.
Tuanchai and Wilson were divorced more than one and a half decades before Flip died. However, they were on good terms at the time of his death.
