Edward Roy Mchale is the son of American actor and comedian Joel McHale and his wife Sarah Williams. His father Joel was born in Rome but raised on Mercer Island, Washington. The entertainer began his career in 2004 as a host of the weekly TV show The Soup. Later, Joel segued into acting and appeared in dozens of hit movies and TV shows, the most significant of which are Community (2009–2015), Spider-Man 2 (2004), and Spy Kids: All the Time in the World (2011).
