“At its heart, Beetlejuice 2 is a story about a family. And now it’s 30 years later, and what are the intricaries and the human conditions in keeping a family together all the time set in the craziest world possible? That’s why I choose projects. That human connection for me is always at forefront.”

Compared with the original plotline, Beetlejuice 2 might also revolve around the story of two friendly ghosts, content to haunt their quaint country home and a gothic girl. We’re assuming, Ortega is the new goth girl in the sequel, taking the place of her on-screen mother.
